Writing a life story while it is still happening
Nobody sits down to write their dog’s biography. It gets written by accident, one entry at a time, and the only thing that really determines whether you end up with one is whether you started.
The timeline is the spine
Birth, arrival home, first walk, first command, first trip, competitions, new friends, holidays, milestones. Dates can be marked approximate — most owners genuinely do not remember the exact day, and pretending otherwise makes the record worse.
Everything else feeds it
Training sessions, routines, mood observations, memories and verified genetics all contribute. Mastering a skill writes itself onto the timeline; so does verifying a DNA report.
The longer the archive runs, the more the generated retrospectives have to work with — which is why the annual story tends to be underwhelming in year one and genuinely moving in year four.
Reports you can hold
Seven report types render from a frozen snapshot — including a life story and a year in review — in an editorial layout designed to be printed rather than skimmed.
